Referees Structure
Squash Association of Hong Kong, China Referee Structure is a 3-Grade system, starting from elementary Grade C then to Grade B and finally to advanced Grade A. For enthusiasts to attain a certain referee grade, s/he must complete the respective criteria sets as according to the requirements of Squash Association of Hong Kong, China(SAHKC).
Remarks:
- Referees of all grades must be the SAHKC member.
- Referees must submit all the activity/assessment record on or before 31 December in every year.
- (^) All the matches counted must be assigned by SAHKC.
- (*) All assessments must be conducted by SAHKC Referee Assessors and must have at least 15 decisions. Percentage error among total number of decisions must be less than 15% and 20% for acquiring/maintaining Grade A and B respectively.

To Be A HK Squash Registered Referee / Active Referee?
REGISTERED REFEREE
- Must be a Qualified Referee.
- Registered as SAHKC Squash Member in the current year.
Exclusive Benefits:
1. Received all the promotion materials of referee activities organized by SAHKC.
2. Priority in enrolment at the referee continuous education programmes organized by SAHKC.
3. Personal contact details will be published on the SAHKC web site if agreed by the referee.
4. Received first-hand squash information through regular membership postings.
ACTIVE REFEREE
- Must be a Registered Referee.
- Attend one Refresher Course/Clinic every two year.
- Fulfilled the following requirements:-
Grade C Referee
- Must have officiated in at least five matches, assigned by SAHKC, in one calendar year.
Grade B Referee
- Must have officiated in at least fifteen matches, assigned by SAHKC, in two consecutive years; and
- Must have obtained one successful assessment by the SAHKC Referee Assessor in two consecutive years.
Grade A Referee
- Must have officiated in at least twenty matches, assigned by SAHKC, in two consecutive years; and
- Must have obtained one successful assessment by the SAHKC Referee Assessor in two consecutive years.
