2021 HK Champion, Yip Tsz Fung announced his retirement due to injuries on his personal social media last night.

Yip Tsz Fung started his squash journey as a full-time athlete since 2013. He had represented Hong Kong to complete in numerous major games and international championships, in which he medaled in the World Championships, World University Championships, Asian Games and Asian Championships respectively. In addition, he had also played for over hundred tournaments on the PSA World Tour in the past 9 years.

Yip thanked his family, coaches, and the team in HK Squash and HK Sports Institutes for their continuous support throughout all these years. Besides, he also encouraged the young players to keep fighting hard for their dream.

Hong Kong Squash sincerely thank Tsz Fung for all his hard work and devotion in squash and wish him all the very best and success in his new chapter.
