The Quarterfinals of the 2024 WSF World Squash Team Championship was held yesterday, where Team Hong Kong, China faced tough competition, losing 0-2 to the strong England Men's team and 1-2 to the Belgian Women's team.

The No.6 seed Women's team met the third seed Team Belgium yesterday. Tong Tsz Wing won Chloe Crabbe in straight sets, securing the first match. However, her following players Ho Tze Lok Tomato and Chan Sin Yuk Simmi both lost 0-3 to the Belgian sisters, Nele Gilis and Tinne Gilis, both ranked in the top ten in the world. The team will compete in the 5th to 8th place match against the 7/9 seed Team France today at 5:30pm.

While the No.8 seed Men's team faced the second seed England team, Wong Chi Him and Lau Tsz Kwan Alex lost to Curtis Malik and world No.9 Mohamed Elshorbagy by 1-3 and 0 respectively, ending their advancement in the tournament. The team will face the No.6 seed Team Colombia in the 5th to 8th place match at 7:30pm.
