Congratulations to Max and Annie for winning the Runner-ups in the Macau Squash Open 2016.
The defending champion Max Lee determined to take out top seeded World No.7 Egyptian Marwan Elshorbagy in a seesaw match that lasted 68 minutes in the semi-final on last Saturday. However, it is highly unfortunate that Max was forced to concede to reign his Macau title before the final, unable to recover
in time
after the semi-final match suffering with severe cramps and dehydration.
Second seed Annie Au gave a masterclass performance to dispatch Seed 4 Emily Whitlock from England in Semi sailing to the Final held last night. Annie played and tried hard but yet was finally defeated by the top seeded New Zealand Champion Joelle King in 1-3 to claim the Runner-up of this PSA50 event.
