Hong Kong sets up the semi-finals encounter in WSF World Junior Women’s Team Championships 2017 for the seventh time after outplaying India in the quarter finals in Tauranga, New Zealand today.
Although Chan Sin Yuk could not pull off a lead by losing in a close four games, Lui Hiu Lam and Ho Ka Wing both outplayed their opponents in a straight game to guarantee a top 4 place with a 2-1 triumph.
Team Hong Kong will take on the defending champion Egypt in the semi-finals held at local time 2:30pm on Friday (28 July).
