The Individual Events of World University Squash Championships 2016 just completed today. Congratulation Team Hong Kong on capturing three medals including one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze in both men’s and women’s event.

In the men’s final, Yip Tsz Fung continued his fine form to outplay Ivan Yuen from Malaysia by winning at a comfortable straight game 11-3, 11-9, 11-4 to become the first ever Hong Kong men's player to clinch the gold medal in the event whereas Wong Chi Him claimed the bronze medal in the men's event as he was stopped by Yip Tsz Fung in the semi-finals.

Tong Tsz Wing pulled off a good show against the first seed Low Wee Wern before losing in a tight four games to the Malaysian to obtain the silver medal in the women’s event. 

The men’s and women’s mixed team event will be started tomorrow.
