In the men’s final, the home favourites Leo Au came back from two games down to set up a decider against the former No.3 Omar Mosaad of Egypt with the massive support from the home crowds. Being down at 8-11 and 8-11, Leo recovered in the third and fourth at 11-6 and 15-13 to level up the game before taking the fifth at 11-7 to clinch his first PSA title in this year.

The women’s final came between the seed No.2 Nour El Tayeb and the seed No.3 Joshna Chinappa. Nour El Tayeb made a good start to gain the control throughout the game to storm at 11-4, 11-4 and 11-4 to claim her first PSA title in almost two years.
