The quarter finals of HKFC PSA International Open 2017in Hong Kong Football Club saw two home hopes guarantee in the semi-finals.

In the women event, local interests Liu Tsz Ling almost produced a hugh upset against the third seed Joshna Chinappa of India by coming back to force a decider before losing in a tough and furious five-setter.

Joshna Chinappa will meet the first seed Annie Au, who made it the first home winner when she conquered the fifth seed Joey Chan in their quarter finals encounter tonight in three games at 11-8, 11-4 and 11-6.

Leo Au is the second home winner after ending the winning streak of the qualifier Vikram Malhotra of India in a straight game to reach the semi-finals playing against Omar Abdel Meguid of Egypt who defeated the home favourites Yip Tsz Fung in four games in another quarters.

The Semi-finals will be started at 6pm tomorrow in Hong Kong Football Club. Free Admission, welcome you all to come and support your favourites.
