HEAD Hong Kong Junior Open 2017 is now under the way to its fourth day when we saw the finalists in all 10 categories were decided today at Hong Kong Squash Centre.

The top seed and defending champion of GU19, Satomi Watanabe of Japan eased through to the finals by defeating the 3/4 seed Au Yeong Wai Yhann of Singapore in a straight game. Watanabe will meet Tang Yan Yi of Hong Kong who provided an upset against the second seed Cheng Nga Ching in the quarters then beat her fellow Ho Ka Wing at a straight in today semis.

In the BU19 event, the 3/4th seed Lee In Woo of Korea come back to beat Lam Yat Ting of Hong Kong in four games to make a debut in the final of Hong Kong Junior Open. Lee will take on the challenge from Law Yat Long who survived from a fierce battle against the seed no.2 Chan Wui Ki in five games.

At the same time, local favorites dominated the GU17 and BU17 draw. The first seed Lui Hiu Lam and second seed Chan Sin Yuk of GU17 will meet each other in the finals after winning over Lee Sum Yuet and Chan Siu Ting at a straight respectively whereas To Wai Lok impressed the packed crowd by outplaying the first seed Malaysian Harris Ramlee in five sets to meet another home interest Wong King Yeung in the finals of BU17.
