We are pleased to announce Mr. Cedric Tyen, Honorary Secretary of Hong Kong Squash and Mr. Yip Tsz Fung, Hong Kong men’s squash athletes were awarded the Secretary for Home Affair’s Commendation 2017 in recognition of the contribution in promoting the local sports development as well as representing Hong Kong to achieve an outstanding result in the World University Squash Championships 2016 respectively. 

Secretary for Home Affair’s Commendation Scheme Presentation Ceremony 2017 co-organized by Home Affairs Bureau and Leisure and Cultural Services Department was held on last Friday. Mr Lau Kong Wah, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs along with other honorable guests attended the ceremony to present the Commendation Certificate to the awardees.

First introduced in 2002, the Secretary for Home Affairs' Commendation Scheme aims to recognize the outstanding contributors to the development of sports and recreation, culture and arts, community building and community services.
