Organized by Hong Kong School Sports Federation and supported by Hong Kong Squash, the all-important inter-school team squash competition 2017/18 came to a successfully end in Cornwall Street Squash and Table Tennis Centre on last Sunday.
Total of 40 school-teams were attracted from the HK/Kln region and NT region to participate in the boy’s and girl’s team event this year.
The Hong Kong Island & Kowloon boy’s and girl’s team final were again the repeat of last year, Diocesan Boys' School overcame his rival La Salle College at 3 – 0 to retain the champion title of Boys’ Team for the fourth consecutive year whereas Diocesan Girls’ School stunned the defending champion Heep Yunn School at 2-1 to regain the champion title.
In the New Territories region, Jockey Club Ti-I College completed a clean sweep of win in both boy’s and girl’s team to capture the champion titles.
The prize presentation ceremony was followed after, Mr. Duncan Chiu, Vice Chairmen of Hong Kong Squash, Mr. NG Chun Hung, Principal of C.C.C. Fong Yun Wah Secondary School and Miss. Emily Mak, Executive Director of Hong Kong Squash were invited to attend the ceremony to present the trophies to all winning teams.
