The Finals of Asian Individual Championships were held tonight, Annie Au and Leo Au settled with the Silver medals whereas Yip Tsz Fung also claimed his maiden bronze medal in the biennial tournament.

Annie Au came up short of winning her second title after suffering a four-game defeat to the defending champion Joshna Chinappa of India in the women's final of Asian Individual Championships.

In the men's final, the first seed Saurav Ghosal denied Leo Au of regaining his title as the Indian dominated the whole match to claim a straight win over Leo. Yip Tsz Fung also won the first bronze medal.

Besides, in compliments of the Asian squash athletes showing a year of hard work and excellence, the ASF Performance Awards 2018 was held. Leo Au and Annie Au were presented the Dato Alex Awards - Outstanding Performance of the Year, the Hong Kong Women's Team has rewarded the ASF Award - Outstanding Team of the Year and Ms. Rebecca Chiu was rewarded the Coach of the Year.
