Team Hong Kong won a record breaking 2 Gold and 2 Silver medals at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games in September. In recognition of their diligence and dedication for the sports, Hong Kong Squash new Chairman, Mr. Duncan Chiu, Vice Chairmen, Mr. John Wong and Mr. Calvin Tien together with President, Mr. David Mui, MH JP, jointly presented the total of HKD500,000 cash incentive award to the medalists in the presentation ceremony held at Hong Kong Sports Institute today.  

The women’s team gold medalists comprising Annie Au, Joey Chan, Ho Tze Lok and Lee Ka Yi would be awarded HKD$220,000 whilst the men’s team silver medalists including Max Lee, Leo Au, Yip Tsz Fung, Henry Leung, would be awarded HKD$110, 000. Leo Au and Max Lee who won the historic men’s first gold and silver medals would be awarded HKD$110, 000 and HKD$60,000 respectively.

“The award is truly an encouragement to the athletes and we hope to boost their performance in the upcoming Everbright Sun Hung Kai Hong Kong Squash Open 2018.” Mr. Duncan Chiu, the Chairman of Hong Kong Squash said.
