The WSF World Junior Squash Championships are back, with Melbourne, Australia set to host 12 days of thrilling action between 18-29 July. Individual Championships is held from 18-23 July and Team Championship is held from 24-29 July. Across the individual events and team event, there are a total of 245 entries from 33 national federations.
Team Hong Kong, China has sent 4 men’s and 4 women’s junior athletes to attend the championship completing in Men’s, Women’s individual event and Women’s team event.
From Women’s event, Ena Kwong lose against Anahat Singh[5/8] from India by 0:3 and head into the special plate event to play against Robyn Mcalpine from Scotland tomorrow.
Leung Ka Huen win against Amelie Haworth [9/16] from UK in 7-11,11-2,11-6,12-10 and progress into the last 16 to complete with Aira Azman [3/4] from Malaysia tomorrow by 1140.
Wai Sze Wing win against Asia Harris (5/8) from UK by 6-11,11-9,11-9,7-11,12-10 and progress into the last 16 to complete with Lauren Baltayan [9/16] from France tomorrow by 1300.
Tse Yee Lam, Toby lose to Nour Megahed [9/16] from Egypt, which bring her to progress to special plate event.
From Men’s main event, Law, Arthur Pak Ki lose to Nero Harms from Swiss and head into 49th/64th place game tomorrow to play Lukas Kazemekaitis from Lithuania
Lo Chun Yu Kelvin win against Diodivine Mkhize from South Africa by 11-7,6-11,11-5,11-6 and head into 65th/96th place game tomorrow to play Tsai Hsin-Lun from Chinese Taipei.
Tam Tsz Shing lose to Luhann Groenewald from South Africa and head into 49th/64th place game tomorrow to play Abdul Rahman Al Hashem from Kuwait.
Tse Jat win against Connor Earl from South Africa in 11-5,7-11,11-6,11-2 and head into 65th/80th place game tomorrow to play Nevindu Lakman from Sri Lanka
Ena Kwong , Leung Ka Huen , Wai Sze Wing and Tse Yee Lam will team up and play in the team event amongst the other 13 countries from 24 to 29 July.
