The 9/16 seed, Hong Kong Women player Chan Sin Yuk upset the 6th seed host player Olivia Clyne by 2-0 (11-5, 11-7) in Round 2 yesterday to earn her first Quarter-finals in the PSA World Tour Silver event of Oracle Netsuite Open 2022. Awaiting her in the quarter-finals will be the USA’s top seed, World No.4 and last year’s winner Amanda Sobby at the glass court, while the 9/16 seed Ho Tze Lok ended her journey by narrowly losing to the 2nd seed, No.5 World-ranked Joelle King from New Zealand by 0-2 (10-12, 6-11).
