We congratulate our men’s player Au Chun Ming Leo on receiving the Dato Alex Lee Award (Outstanding Asian Men’s Player of the Year) rewarded by Asian Squash Federation this year.
The award is to honor the remarkable achievements Leo carried through in 2015. Being the first home grown male player to win the historical Asian Individual Championships in last May, completing at top 4 in China Squash Open 2015, the best result he had in the major PSA tournament and making a great breakthrough to his career best world No. 26 that prove his ability to challenge the highest level of competitions with the world top players as well as to show his great progress in all these years.
At the same time, Hong Kong Team coach Mr. Abdul Faheem Khan is also rewarded the Coach of the Year in recognition of his contribution and efforts on the coaching development by leading the Hong Kong players to stand out in the international arena.
Hong Kong Squash is very proud of their success and we believe they will continue to work hard on their new targets and challenges and we also wish them the very best in the future.
