In the Men’s Doubles event, the 3rd seed Leung Chi Hin Henry / Ling To Yu Andes and 4th seed Lau Tsz Kwan Alex / Chung Yat Long Leo attended the last pool match this morning respectively. Henry / Andes eventually standing third place in Pool B after losing 0-2 to the 2nd seed Malaysian ONG Sai Hung / Syafiq KAMAL, they then defeated the 7th seed Reymark BEGORNIA / David William PELINO from the Philippines in the afternoon’s 5-8 position match. While Alex / Leo were defeating the 5th seed Malaysian Hafiz ZHAFRI / Duncan LEE and ranked second in Pool A to advance, but eventually ending their journey with a Bronze medal after losing 0-2 to the 2nd seed in the Semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Doubles 3rd seed Ho Tze Lok Tomato / Fung Ching Hei Heylie and 4th seed, Tse Yee Lam Toby / Wong Po Yui Kirstie both receiving Bronze medals after defeating by the top and 2nd seed from Malaysia, Aifa AZMAN / Aira AZMAN and Ainna AMANI / CHAN Yiwen in two sets.

For the Mixed Doubles Semi-finals, the  2nd seed, Tong Tsz Wing / Tang Ming Hong were lost the opening set 8-11 to the 6th seed Malaysian Ainaa AMANI / Addeen IDRAKI, but fought back to win the next two games 11-1 and 11-10, to securing their spots in the Final tomorrow. While the 7th seed Cheng Nga Ching Sara / Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew were failed challenge the 3rd seed Indian Joshana CHINAPPA / Abhay SINGH and claimed the fourth Bronze medal of Team Hong Kong, China.
