The 5-day 31st Asian Junior Individual Championships 2024 was completed today, with Team Hong Kong, China concluding with 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 2 Bronze medals.
The GU17 top seed Kwong Ena, competed with her compatriot, 3rd seed Tang Helen in the final this afternoon. Ena lost the opening game by 6-11, however, after adjustment, she successfully returned and took three games in a row and was crowned by 3-1 (6-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-1).
The GU15 2nd seed, Lo Pui Yin Chole claimed a Silver medal after losing 0-3 (8-11, 4-11, 6-11) to the top seed Malaysian Harleein Tan.
Besides, Wong Suet Ling won the GU15 Plate event, while BU13 Wong Ho Kiu and GU15 Chung Ka Yau obtained the second place.
