We had an informative weekend with the World Squash Coaching Level 1 Coaching Course and the Coaching & Referee Seminars!

Funded by the Jockey Club Coach Training Programme, organized by the Squash Association of Hong Kong, China, and sanctioned by the World Squash Federation and Asian Squash Federation, the WSC Level 1 Coaching Course successfully attracted a total of 40 participants who aspire to become accredited WSC Level 1 coaches to attended. Furthermore, we would like to thank you Kowloon Cricket Club for supporting the venue for the course.

The Coaches and Referees Seminars were also completed on the same day. Our speakers shared the latest squash news, including Mr. Phil Head, Squash Coach of the Hong Kong Cricket Club, who shared Squash 57 with our coaches and referees, and Mr. Anthony So, the World Squash Organization (WSO) referee, who shared the latest rules. As well as Mr. Jason Cheung, who was a registered physiotherapist, certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and Level 1 Squash Coach, shared his sports science knowledge of how to enhance squash performance with the participants.

The Coaches Annual Dinner was held on the same day evening. Our Executive Director, Ms. Emily Mak presented the coaching & referee recognition awards to the winners of the Hong Kong Squash Coaching Awards 2023.
