The 23rd Asian Squash Individual Championships 2025 will be held from 17 to 21 June in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. A total of eight Hong Kong, China squash athletes will take part in these prestigious championships. Lau Tsz Kwan Alex is seeded 2nd in the Men’s draw, with 3/4th seed Leung Tsz Hin Henry, and 9/16th seeds Lai Cheuk Nam and Wong Tsz Kwan. While Ho Tsz Lok Tomato and Lee Ka Yi are the Women’s 3/4th seeds, 21st Gold Medalist Tong Tsz Wing and last edition Gold Medalist, Chan Sin Yuk Simmi will join the tournament as 5/8th seed and 9/16th seed respectively.

 

Following the Individual Championships, the Asian Squash Doubles Championships will take place from 23 to 26 June. Team Hong Kong, China will field two pairs in both the Men’s and Women’s Doubles events, and three pairs for the Mixed Doubles event. The newly formed Men’s Doubles duos, Wong Chi Him/Tang Ming Hong and Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew/To Wai Lok Oto will enter as the 5th and 6th seeds. The team will retain the 2024 lineup for Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Including last year’s Women’s Doubles Bronze medalists Ho Tze Lok Tomato/Fung Ching Hei Heylie and Wong Po Yui Kirstie/Tse Yee Lam Toby will be seeded 4th and 5th respectively. In Mixed Doubles, the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games Bronze Medalist Lee Ka Yi/Wong Chi Him will compete as the 5th seed, alongside last year’s Silver Medalist Tong Tsz Wing/Tang Ming Hong and Bronze Medalist Cheng Nga Ching Sara/Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew, who will be seeded 6th and 8th.
