The Hong Kong Squash Association welcomes the "Corporate Governance Review Report and Roll-out of Code of Goverance" announced this afternoon by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. The report presents several recommendations aimed at enhancing the accountability and good governance of national sports associations, which is of great significance for promoting the development of sports in Hong Kong.

We believe these recommendations will help improve the transparency and governance efficiency of national sports associations, further strengthening the expectations and trust from the government, public, and various sectors towards the sports community. As a part of the sports sector, our Association will actively support the implementation of these recommendations.

We are committed to developing a specific timeline as soon as possible to effectively implement these governance recommendations and guidelines. Through our collaborative efforts, we believe we can establish a healthier and more responsible sports environment, creating better development conditions for athletes and various sports activities.

Since its establishment, our Association has upheld the belief in good governance, dedicating itself to promoting sports development and enhancing governance practices. We believe that transparent and responsible management is the cornerstone of advancing sports. We will continue to collaborate with all parties to promote the practice of good governance, ensuring that athletes can perform to their potential in the best environment.

Our Association will continue to monitor relevant progress and looks forward to working together with the government, the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, and fellow national sports association and organizations to promote the vigorous development of sports in Hong Kong.
