The 5-day Squash Singles event of the World Games 2025 will kick off in Chengdu, China, this Friday (8 August).

Both the Men's and Women's Singles will feature a 32-player draw. Two Men’s and two Women’s squash athletes will represent Hong Kong, China: Lau Tsz Kwan Alex, currently ranked 38th in the World, and Leung Chi Hin Henry, ranked 48th, will participate in the Men’s event as 5/8 seeds. While on the Women's side, Ho Tze Lok Tomato, currently World No. 29, and Lee Ka Yi, World No.33, will compete as the 2nd seed and 3/4 seed, respectively. The team has already departed for their destination today.
