Today is the semi finals of Asian Squash Team Championships 2016. With the supreme performances of Max Lee and Tang Ming Hong pulling off to both win at a straight, Hong Kong men’s team made sure their place in Final for the first time since1996 in beating Japan at 2-0. They will meet the three consecutive times champion, Pakistan in the men’s final tomorrow at 3pm.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong women’s team was forced to end their journey today after losing to India at 1-2 in the women’s semis. Although Liu Tsz Ling made a great start by winning at 11-6,11-7 and 11-2, Annie Au and Joey Chan could not manage to clinch the victory that they were dispatched at 0-3 and 2-3 respectively to claim the bronze medal.
