Organized by Hong Kong School Sports Federation and supported by Hong Kong Squash, the most prestigious inter-school team squash competition is completed on 22 January, 2017.

There were total 36 secondary schools to take part in the boys and girls team event. The boy’s and girl’s team final were the repeat of last year, Diocesan Boys' School overcame his rival La Salle College at 3 – 0 to crown the champion of Hong Kong Island & Kowloon Boys’ Team for the third consecutive time whereas the defending champion Heep Yunn School captured the champion of Hong Kong Island & Kowloon Girls’ Team once again after defeating Diocesan Girls’ School at 3 – 0.

In the New Territories region, Jockey Club Ti-I College swept the champion of Boys’ Team and Girls’ Team.
