Wong Chi Him and Tong Tsz Wing as the top seed of both men’s and women’s draw, claimed the first champion titles of the year with a pleasant victory in the finals of Malaysian Squash Tour VIII 2017 on 27 Jan 2017.

In the men’s final, Wong Chi Him came back from a 1-2 down to outplay the second seed, Chris Fuller from England with an intensive five setters 11-2, 7-11, 4-11, 11-1 and 11-4 in 67 minutes.

Meanwhile, Tong Tsz Wing defeated the local favourites, Andrea Lee without much challenges in four games 11-4, 3-11, 11-3 and 11-8 to triumph in the women event.
