The 19th Asian Squash Championship is now being held in Chennai, India. Hong Kong top men and women players Lee Ho Yin Max and Au Wing Chi Annie took the top spot in both men’s and women’s draw whereas Leo Au, Yip Tsz Fung, Wong Chi Him, Joey Chan, Liu Tsz Ling and Tong Tsz Wing also participate in the prestigious biennial championships.

The quarter finals will be started today at 2pm (local time). First seed Max Lee will take on Harinderpal Sandhu of India while fourth seed Yip Tsz Fung will meet his compatriot and defending champion Leo Au for the last four positions.

All four Hong Kong players reached the women’s quarters, seed no.1 Annie Au and seed no.3 Joey Chan will compete against Satomi Watanabe and fellow teammates Tong Tsz Wing respectively. Another Hong Kong players, Liu Tsz Ling will challenge Dipika Pallikal Karthik of India.
