Funded by the Jockey Club Coach Education Programme and organized by the Squash Association of Hong Kong, China, the World Squash Association Level 1 Coaching Course successfully attracted 30 aspiring participants. This course was sanctioned by both the World Squash Federation and the Asian Squash Federation and took place from the 14th to 16th and 28th to 30th of this month. We extend our gratitude to Kowloon Cricket Club for providing the venue.

Additionally, the 26th Coaching Seminar and the 5th Referee Seminar concluded successfully last Sunday (30th) at the Cornwall Street Squash and Table Tennis Centre. These seminars offered a valuable platform for coaches and referees to exchange ideas and discuss the latest trends and developments in squash. Featured speakers included Mr. Jason Cheung, a registered physiotherapist, certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), and Level 1 Squash Coach; WSO Level 4 Referee Mr. Anthony So, and Mr. Peter Genever, Head Squash Coach, & his coaching team from  the Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited: Mr. Dick Leung, Mr. Max Lee, Ms. Elise Ng, and Ms. Joey Chan.

On the same evening, the Coach and Referee Annual Dinner was held at Tai Mei Tuk, Tai Po. While enjoying a delightful meal in a warm atmosphere, our Executive Director, Ms. Emily Mak, presented awards to the winners of the Hong Kong Squash Coaching Awards 2024.
