Organized by Squash Association of Hong Kong, China, the Third Leg of the Hong Kong Squash PSA Challenge Cup 2024 concluded successfully this evening at the Hong Kong Cricket Club after four consecutive days of tournament.
The Men's No.1 seed, home player Ling To Yu Andes successfully claimed his first PSA Challenger title after defeating his teammate, No.2 seed, Lam Yat Ting Harley by straight games (11-8, 11-9, 11-5).
While the Women's No.2 seed, Tse Yee Lam, Toby from Hong Kong, China faced the No.3 seed, her teammate Wong Po Yui Kirstie in today’s final. Toby took the first two sets to lead, then lost the third by 7-11 to Kirstie. Toby then immediately adjusted herself and came back to win the title by 3-1 (11-5, 11-8, 7-11, 11-8).
The prize presentation ceremony was followed to held after the Women’s final, with Mr. Russel Lamb, the Squash Convenor of Hong Kong Cricket Club and Mrs. Heather Dayton, the Executive Committee Member of Squash Association of Hong Kong, China together presenting the trophies to all the winners.
