The Hong Kong, China Squash Team successfully secured three Bronze Medals in the 2nd Asian Squash Doubles Championships, which was held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

The two brand new Men's Doubles pairs, Wong Chi Him/Tang Ming Hong and Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew/To Wai Lok Oto advanced to the Quarterfinals as second in Pool D and the top of Pool C. The two duos faced off in the Quarterfinals, where Wong Chi Him/Tang Ming Hong triumphed with a 2-0 victory. However, they then lost 0-2 in the Semi-finals to the Top seed and last year's Gold Medalist, the Indian pair of Abhay Singh / Velavan Senthilkumar, earning a Bronze Medal. Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew/To Wai Lok Oto finished in 6th place.

For the Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles events, the team retained last year's lineup. The Women's Doubles pairs Ho Tze Lok Tomato/Fung Ching Hei Heylie and Wong Po Yui Kirstie/Tse Yee Lam Toby both progressed to the Quarterfinals as the winners of Pool C and D respectively. They then both reached the Semifinals with 2-1 victories but ultimately lost 0-2 to the top second seeds, Ainaa Amani/Xin Ying Yee from Malaysia and Joshana Chinappa/Anahat Singh from India and ending their journey with Bronze Medals.

While in the Mixed Doubles, the three pairs Tong Tsz Wing/Tang Ming Hong, Lee Ka Yi/Wong Chi Him and Cheng Nga Ching Sara/ Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew finished in 6th, 7th, and 13th Places.
