The 6-day WSF World Junior Team Championships 2024 was concluded in Houston, USA yesterday.

Team Hong Kong defeated Team England 2-1 in the Women's 5th/6th position match. Kwong Ena fought hard against Amelie Haworth in the opening match, eventually losing 2-3 (11-8, 12-10, 7-11, 8-11, 5-11). However, her compatriot, Cheung Tsz Ching tied the match by defeating Mariam Eissa 3-1 (9-11, 12-12, 11-5, 11-3). In the deciding match, Tang Helen won 3-0 (11-2, 11-2, 12-10) against her opponent, securing the 5th Place for the team.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong, China Men’s Team lost 0-2 to Team France and finished the tournament in 14th Place.
