Two-time champion Max Lee will be back on action to take the top spot in the men’s event while his compatriots Leo Au, Yip Tsz Fung and Nafiizwan Adnan of Malaysia, the 2016 champion, occupied the following three seeded places respectively.

Local favourites, Annie Au topped the draw along with Dona Lobban of Australia and the promising World Junior Championships Runner-up Hania El Hammamy to contest in the women’s event. The fellow home players including Liu Tsz Ling, Tong Tsz Wing and Ho Tze Lok, Lee Ka Yi and Vanessa Chu will also take part in the main event.
