Hong Kong Junior Players Wong Po Yui Kirstie (U19), Kwong Ena (U15) and Lo Pui Yin Chloe (U13) secured their spots in the Asian Junior Individual Championships Finals which will be held tomorrow.

The 2nd seed, Wong Po Yui Kirstie displayed a convincing performance in the GU19 event to knock out the 10th seed Wong Heng Wai from Malaysia, who had defeated the other two HK girls in earlier rounds, in straight games (11-7, 11-8, 11-7).

For the GU15 event, the 3rd seed, Kwong Ena prevailed over her teammate, 10th seed Cheung Tsz Ching at 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-5) to final while the only GU13 HK player, the 6th seed Lo Pui Yin Chloe had also beaten another seeded player Indian Anika Dubey at 3-0 (11-4, 11-6, 11-9).

Besides, Huang Valerie Kaitlyn(U17) lost to the Malaysian Goh Zhi Xuan at 1-3 (11-4, 3-11, 9-11, 8-11) and awarded the bronze medal together with Cheung Tsz Ching(U15).
