Consisting of Liu Tsz Ling, Ho Tze Lok, Tong Tsz Wing and Lee Ka Yi, the Hong Kong Women’s Team clinched the silver medal in the 20th Asian Team Championship.

The top seed Team Hong Kong met the second seed Team Malaysia in the Women’s team final. Liu Tsz Ling was defeated by the Malaysian Rachel Arnold at 1-3 (6-11, 11-8, 7-11, 2-11) in the opening match. Tong Tsz Wing then beat Ainaa Amani 3-1 (11-8, 11-6, 6-11, 11-9) to tie the match for Hong Kong before the last string Ho Tze Lok was suppressed by Aifa Azman at a straight (4-11, 3-11, 6-11).

With the new lineups, the Women’s team achieved with silver medal and the Men’s team claimed the bronze medal to conclude the Asian Team Championship this year.
