Chan Sin Yuk came across the 3rd seed, World no.7 Salma Hany from Egypt in the Round 2 match of J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions 2022 yesterday.

The Wildcard Chan Sin Yuk was on fire and was earned three game balls in the first game; however, the game was reversed by her opponent afterward and lost the opening two games. Chan Sin Yuk continued to fight all the way and took the third game. Chan Sin Yuk eventually lost by 1-3 (10-12, 7-11, 11-9, 9-11) and ended her first journey in this PSA World Tour Gold event.

Another Hong Kong Female Squash Player, Ho Tze Lok was also stopped her steps in Round 1 by narrowly losing to the 9/16th seed, Lucy Turmel from England at 2-3 (6-11, 11-8, 7- 11, 14 -12, 4-11) after 71 minutes match.
