The Hong Kong Squash Elites Challenge came to a successful end yesterday at the Hong Kong Squash Centre. The venue was packed with an enthusiastic and ecstatic crowd who were enjoying a great and special atmosphere together with the players.

After delivering the welcoming speech, Mr. Duncan Chiu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Squash held the kick-off ceremony with Mr. Ricky Wong, Senior Leisure Manager (Sports Funding), of Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

14 local men and women squash elites were divided into two groups. Team A consisted of Leo Au, Max Lee, Henry Leung, Tang Ming Hong, Joey Chan, Tong Tsz Wing, Lee Ka Yi played against Team B consisted of Annie Au, Yip Tsz Fung, Alex Lau, Wong Chi Him, LIU Tsz Ling, Ho Tze Lok, Vanessa Chu.

The two teams brought a splendid performance in front of the supporting crowd and they levelled up the match after six rounds of exciting games. Leo Au suppressed his sister, Annie Au with two points advantage in the final “Au Siblings” battle to seal the victory for team A.

After the match, we drew two lucky ones among the audience who successfully voted for the winning team to present the medals to two teams, while the audiences received the autographed squash balls by the players as a special gift, and also they were able to take pictures with the athletes to leave the lovely memories for the event.
